The following is a sampling of CDG’s recent projects:
Roxbury – Shelburne Community Center
Providing the civil support for the revitalization of this Boston Public Facilities Department (PFD) project, CDG involved with the site drainage, grading and parking lot layout. New fire services along with extensive improvements to the storm water management system were needed.
Cambridge – Residential, single family
Storm water design and site layout. Working with TV producers of “This Old House”, CDG designed a series of storm water detention/storage and infiltration chambers to solve flooding problems. Harvesting the runoff for irrigation, allowing for ground water recharge through infiltration and providing an overflow to the Municipal storm drain to alleviate potential flooding.
Weston – Residential, single family
This very large 20k SF home renovation and site improvement project included a variety of design and permitting challenges. Slope remediation for a tennis court embankment within 100’ wetland buffer (NOI), site grading and drainage, driveway & parking layout, storm water collection and dissipation into retention pond. Septic system design, municipal domestic water supply and well water service for irrigation and pond feed.
Concord – Residential, single family
Resolving storm water flooding problems in the rear landscape area. Mitigating runoff from large hill through collection system and infiltration with overflow designed to handle excess flow.
Dorchester – Self-Storage facility (101,000 SF)
CDG provided the full set of permitting documents for filing with Boston Water & Sewer Commission (BWSC). Site plan, drainage report & calculation, water, sewer, fire and private utilities.
Brookline – Residential, single family
New home, site grading, driveway and walkway layout, storm drainage calculations and design, utility services (water, sewer, private).
Newton – Residential, single family
Renovation and addition, LEED certified development, site grading, storm water management, soil evaluation & percolation tests, sidewalk and driveway layout and grading.
